「A man in the United States is suing his mother and father for almost $100,000 after they threw away his collection of pornography, which was large enough to take up twelve boxes.

A man from the American state of Michigan is suing his parents for $86,000 after they threw away his “large” pornography collection. The 40-year-old man, who now lives in the nearby state of Indiana, temporarily moved in with his parents for two months after his divorce, but discovered upon moving to his next home that his $29,000 pornography collection was missing.

The man’s father said that he was doing his son a favor, stating:

“Believe it or not, one reason for why I destroyed your porn was for your own mental and emotional health. I would have done the same if I had found a kilo of crack cocaine. Someday, I hope you will understand.”

The man apparently has some history of problem behavior relating to pornography, having been thrown out of high school and college for selling adult material to other students. He claims that many of the items destroyed by his parents were rare, out-of-print VHS cassettes and DVDs with considerable monetary value. Presumably, the bulk of his damages claim relates to emotional trauma.」

You don't EVER fuck with a person's hobby, passion, or collection. EVER!! You can't compare a porn collection to a kilo of crack cocaine since it is legal to have porn and technically illegal to have certain types of drugs. There is nothing wrong with having a porn collection.. He has all the reason to be mad especially considering the monetary value if he ever decides to sell it away. It would make me flaming mad if my parents ever threw away my physical album collection - I probably wouldn't even talk to them anymore. You don't just throw away other peoples' personal belongings! What if I just threw away your shit that was very important to you? See how that works? Great job parents - You have put a very deep emotional scar on your son that will probably never permanently heal.
